Back in the Studio (and Letting Creativity Lead) ✂️💕
Hello, sweet friends — and welcome back to Pink & Ponder.
If you’ve been stopping by the shop since Christmas and noticed things have been a little quiet, I wanted to share a small behind-the-scenes update with you.
January didn’t quite unfold the way I had imagined. Between being sick for a couple of weeks and navigating some real-life moments, the start of this year felt slower than planned. Not behind exactly… just not quite where I hoped to be by now. And that’s okay. Sometimes creativity asks us to pause before it asks us to move forward.

The good news? I’m officially back in the studio. Fabrics are being pulled, trims are being sorted, and ideas are flowing again.
Lately, I’ve been giving myself permission to think outside the box — leaning into brighter colours, playful combinations, and fresh details that feel uplifting during these grey winter days. I’m expanding how I create, experimenting more, and letting colour and texture guide me. There’s something really powerful about choosing brightness when the world outside still feels a little sleepy.

This season is all about growth for me — creatively and personally. You’ll still see lots of familiar Pink Polkadot favourites making their way back, but you’ll also notice some new directions, reimagined pieces, and some surprises sprinkled in along the way.
I don’t have a reopening date to share just yet, but I promise things are moving behind the scenes. If you’d like sneak peeks, studio moments, and little previews of what’s coming, come hang out with me on Instagram ➡️➡️ at @pink_polkadot_designs. I’ll be sharing lots of in-progress peeks, fabric finds, and creative moments there as everything comes together. ✂️🪡🧵
Thank you, always, for your patience, your support, and for being part of this small handmade journey with me. It truly means more than you know.
Here’s to fresh starts, colourful days ahead, and creating from the heart.
Stay tuned — there’s more coming soon. 💕
